JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sourcing COE Analyst in Sourcing COE plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making, improving processes, optimizing sourcing performance and operational efficiency by providing actionable insights through data analysis.

This role contributes to enhancing the overall value and competitiveness of the company´s sourcing strategies

This role will be involved in complex end-to-end sourcing initiatives, ensuring high quality of output in a timely manner. This involves working very closely with Sourcing teams to design, launch, report and track success of the specific initiatives.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis, reporting and presenting

  • Provide support to Sourcing COE through rigorous and deep analysis that facilitates understanding root causes & actions to be taken. Identify best practices, share, and reapply across the organization.

  • Develop presentations with conceptual and/or quantitative analysis that facilitate top management decision making.

Support adoption of best practices and tools within Sourcing CoE

  • Design, monitor and analyze user adoption heatmap

  • Work closely with Sourcing WoW strategy lead, to identify gaps and reinforcement required

  • Work closely with sourcing regions to collect ideas, best practices or business needs to further analyze it´s business impact

Market research & Benchmarking

  • Conduct market research to stay up to date on trends, pricing and best practices in travel sector

  • Conduct thorough market research on partner´s priorities, needs and preferences

  • Measure and track partner engagement on our Value proposition

  • Conduct thorough market research on digital channels available

Sourcing Tech Road Map

  • Business impact assessment to support prioritization on any feature development that requires technology in close cooperation with sourcing regions, Commercial enablement teams and line manager

  • Coordination for any Proof of concept and testing required in Sourcing

Requirements

Skills:

  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  (This role requires a constant communication with the regional sourcing leaders)

  • Well organized, ability to manage multitask roles & Prioritize

  • Strong project management skills as the role requires coordination with product managers for all key tools to be used by Sourcing

  • Analytical and conceptual skills to implement the tools and its adoption

  • Overall understanding of the business to priortise needs aligned with company strategy

Experience:

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in company tools will be a plus

  • Sourcing frontline experience it’s a plus to be able to relate internal tools to business decisions

  • Experience in Project management it’s a plus as it will support the coordination with product managemnet later on

  • Proven work experience in product management or within product roles (Contracting, revenue or yielding)

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to Sourcing teams (contracting and yielding teams)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or University Degree
