JOB DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- This role will run new/renewal rebates requests across the group for approval
- Manages a portfolio of deals and creates standard business cases for approval
- Presents Deals to the pricing committee for approval
- Support the structuring of best practice to optimize Client rebates process, ensuring accurate calculations, timely reporting and compliance with contractual agreements.
- This role supports both financial growth and commercial requirements, mitigating risks and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- To track how the company is doing in rebates expenses vs budget
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing and analyzing individual business cases with forecasts and financial impacts for each client rebates for approval.
- This role involves working closely with internal commercial teams to track, calculate and optimize rebate performance while maintaining robust documentation and communication throughout the process.
- Prepare and presents business cases to Pricing committee
- Ensure contracted rebates match to Business cases, ensuring compliance with contractual rebate terms, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities and investigate anomalies for the process improvement and suggest improvements for changes in the process.
Skills:
- Must be able to communicate comfortably, excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with very attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast environment
- Must be comfortable with conflict and the ability to influence people – will be communicating with senior level individuals
- Intermediate data modelling and programing skills (SQL)
- Fluencing in data visualization tools (Tableau)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years working in an analytical area
- Must show proven strong communication skills to senior audience
Qualifications:
- Previous analytical work experience. Travel industry experience is a plus
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, business, economics or finance
