What You'll Do:
The Solutions Delivery Manager, a key role within the Customer Implementation Service Team, leads a team of Solutions Architects and Technical Specialists in forging strong partnerships with SambaSafety and customer stakeholders. The Solutions Delivery Manager is pivotal in providing expert technical knowledge and business insight to integrate SambaSafety solutions effectively into diverse customer environments. Balancing leadership responsibilities with direct customer engagements, this role will also manage individual customers to deliver strategic solutions.
As a leader and mentor, the Solutions Delivery Manager is tasked with team development, including recruitment, coaching, and management of Solution Architects and Technical Specialists. This role is recognized for thought leadership and utilizes an understanding of emerging technology trends to foster innovation. The Solutions Delivery Manager ensures that the team's solutions align with SambaSafety's business and technical requirements and manages the end-to-end solution designs for customers.

  • Team leadership and development, including hiring, mentoring, and managing a team.
  • Building strong, influenceable relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Continuously updating documentation and teaching SambaSafety teams in your domain.
  • Overall solution design oversight to ensure the team's solutions meet both business and technical requirements for SambaSafety.
  • Manage and deliver end-to-end solution designs for your customers.
  • Work closely with the project manager and other internal teams to provide the technical vision and direction for customer implementation while liaising with the customer's technical and business teams.
  • Serving as the escalation point for your team and Customer Stakeholders.
  • Gather and document requirements to design, develop, and implement workflow solutions to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Work with the customer's technical teams to:
  • to understand their needs around SambaSafety's API
  • create workflows that utilize SambaSafety API best practices and their desired outcomes and goals
  • Support simultaneous customers through the implementation lifecycle from initial kick-off through the go-live of the implementation phase.
  • Utilize your excellent problem-solving skills to meet business requirements with technical solutions.
  • Leverage alternative solutions artfully when no perfect solution exists in core product functionality.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years' leadership experience in managing technical teams with a deep understanding of technology, software as a service (SaaS), cloud architectures, information security, data reporting and analytics, and integration frameworks.
  • 6+ years' experience conceptualizing solution diagrams, facilitating whiteboard sessions to outline technology solutions, and delivering persuasive presentations.
  • 6+ years' demonstrating expertise in software and SasS consulting.
  • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to scope, plan, and estimate tasks accurately, balancing risk and effort efficiently.
  • Technical proficiency:
    1. Problem-solving skills
    2. REST/SOAP HTTP Protocol - Knowledge of each protocol and common format types to transmit requests for each
    3. MSSQL/Postgres and strong SQL skills
    4. Working knowledge of JSON/XML and its use within integrations
    5. REST/SOAP API Testing - Familiarity API tools Postman, SoapUI, cURL
    6. Familiarity with Editor/IDE tools
    7. Python or other program language experience is a plus
    8. Integration platform experience a plus (e.g. Boomi)
