We are expanding our team and seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect (EMEA) to join our Professional Services organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients successfully integrate and optimize their use of the Degreed platform.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, scope and plan technical engagements, and support the strategic growth of our Professional Services offerings. You’ll bring deep technical expertise, a commercial mindset, and strong communication skills to solve complex challenges in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Key Skills
- Strong experience with API-based integrations, data mapping, and middleware solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on technical expertise with protocols such as API, FTP, ETL, SSO/SAML, and integrations with data warehouses or BI tools.
- Proficiency in building automation and middleware solutions; familiarity with languages like JavaScript or Python is a strong plus.
- Skilled in scoping, costing, and delivering technical solutions in client-facing environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align solutions with business value.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable managing third-party vendors and cross-functional teams in complex technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Degreed’s architecture, integrations, and data capabilities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams during pre- and post-sale engagements to scope and deliver complex client projects.
- Design and implement tailored technical solutions that align with client needs and leverage the Degreed platform.
- Build and deliver high-value middleware and automation solutions to support both client-facing and internal use cases.
- Lead integration strategy with third-party systems (LMS, HRIS, etc.) and manage technical execution end-to-end.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data flow, integration, and platform configuration issues in collaboration with engineering and support teams.
- Scope and cost professional services engagements to ensure profitability and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of recurring service models and support the evolution of Professional Services strategy.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across the organization.
