ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY…  

As a Solutions Architect you will own all aspects of our clients’ technical evaluation of our digital solutions, working in partnership with engineering, Sales, and project services as a trusted technical and strategic advisor. It will be your job to impress upon our clients our product value proposition and differentiators with a well-developed mix of technical and business understanding, with the flexibility to pivot from business to technical discussions to share our product positioning and our client’s complex architectural landscape.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…  

  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to achieve strategic and tactical goals, driving deals to closure.

  • Prepare for client meetings alongside Sales, Professional Services, and Partners to ensure cohesive presentations.

  • Deliver value-based technical demonstrations tailored to address client business challenges and initiatives.

  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client needs, qualifying solutions to match their requirements.

  • Become a subject matter expert and provide advisory consulting to peers and other teams at Iron Mountain.

  • Build and nurture relationships at strategic accounts to expand our product and service footprint.

  • Present to diverse client stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and C-Suite executives.

  • Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and create proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and solutions.

  • Proactively manage solution ideation, design, and implementation to ensure effective delivery.

  • Partner with Engineering and Professional Services to refine solutions, address client objections, and drive customer satisfaction

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Pre-Sales consulting or Professional Consulting services.

  • Strong ability to articulate technical concepts like ECM, BPM, App-Dev, and AI/ML to non-technical clients.

  • Knowledge of deployment architectures, including cloud and on-prem, and the ability to explain their benefits.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presentations and customer discussions.

  • Familiarity with major cloud infrastructure providers, such as AWS and GCP.

  • Understanding of Low-Code platforms, IDP, and development tools like Java and Python is a plus.

  • Ability to respond to technical, functional, and non-functional requirements in RFPs with deep technical knowledge.

  • Proven success guiding customers through complex software deal lifecycles.

  • Experience collaborating with product management, engineering, and project services teams to deliver solutions.
