This opportunity entails being responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions that meet the organization's needs while ensuring that the solution is scalable, efficient, and cost-effective. Provides advanced technical guidance for all technologies supported by their team. Ensures maximum stability and reliability of all implemented technologies. Stays current on available technical solutions. Leads project related implementations. Solutions may include but are not limited to, network hardware, security solutions, datacenter architecture, applications, third party solutions, web services management, data warehousing, databases, and document management technologies.
This position will drive efficiency within the IT organization through application/tool integration and task automation. This role will require proficiency in PowerShell, application APIs, Windows Server OS, VMWare virtualization, and Active Directory. This role will also require a high level of collaboration with many different roles and departments in IT to understand challenges and offer solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Proposes technical solutions to align with enterprise roadmaps.
- Ensures that the solution is implemented smoothly and tested thoroughly to ensure that it meets the requirements and works as expected.
- Designs, implements, and maintains proposed solutions.
- Ensures solutions are designed to be scalable, secure, and reliable and meets service level agreements including disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Creates documentation for the solution and ensures that it is maintained and updated as needed.
- Works with team to plan major upgrades, installs, refreshes, and the decommissioning.
- Maintains the overall architecture of the solution ensuring compatibility, performance, and fault tolerance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 8 years information technology experience, or
- In lieu of education, 12 years information technology experience
What We Prefer:
- 5 years of senior level network experience
- 5 years of senior level system administration experience
