We are looking for a Software Tester, that would work in a DevOps setup on a number of projects & products. The position is anchored in ROCKWOOL Digital - Web Applications and API Services Department - the department is responsible for delivering best value in web applications for our internal and external clients.

The Software tester reports to Senior Digital Product Manager and serves in the specialist team.

What you will be doing

  • Testing of regular releases of various product components, Performing manual functional tests

  • Creating, maintaining and running automated functional tests

  • Creating test plans and test cases for testing web applications

  • Designing and executing performance, load and security tests

  • Documenting and tracking bugs in a defect management system

  • Learning system end to end, risk assessment of proposed software changes

  • Helping with production issues, assistance for development team in efficient bugfixing.

  • Defining testing standards and procedures, selecting testing tools

What you bring 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in software, web application testing

  • Knowledge of functional, performance, load and security testing

  • Knowledge of web application testing tools (Selenium / Playwright, DevTools, XPath)

  • Python advanced skills

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies, understanding of the Scrum framework

  • Engineering mindset with critical flavour, enjoying finding problems.

  • Sincerity, openness and high work ethics

  • Open-minded and proactive, can-do attitude

  • Initiative and ability to work without close supervision

  • Very good communication skills

  • Fluency in English 

Additional competencies (as a plus):

  • Experience: international web applications, composable applications based on microservices, web security

  • Knowledge: testing methodologies (e.g. RST, BBST), network protocols, Jira, OWASP, Postman

  • Testing certificate (like ISTQB)
