About the team:
- PaymentsOne API/UI as a Service offers a combined model for both UI and API services. PaymentsOne UI provides an affiliated payments experience for financial institutions that brings together multiple online servicing tools into a consolidated user interface. It provides access to multiple back-end applications for processing different payment types. The users can get a quick peek at the real-time transaction status and updates of the accounts. PaymentsOne UI brings together some of our major key payment offerings under a single enhanced interface. Instead of needing to use multiple FIS products to manage payment operations, it will all be done in one location. Our product is built using a microservices architecture and anything we develop for the UI is also exposed as an API through code connect.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Hands-on experience on Automation Testing with scripting and framework knowledge.
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., agile, iterative, and other modern approaches to software development).
- Develops, maintains and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
- Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security.
- Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
- Controls and manages own daily test activities.
- Provides internal quality assurance.
- Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
- Organizes and maintains the test script library.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
- Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise with other resources
- Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
- To be resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas.
Must haves:
- 7+ years of experience in Software Testing.
- Practical experience on Automation Testing with scripting and framework knowledge.
- Practical experience on UI testing and API testing.
- Strong knowledge and experience on Banking-Payments/Cards domain.
- Knowledge on Payment Switch and Payment Gateway, Connex on HP and TACL scripts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have worked on Agile delivery models and understood the SDLC delivery framework well.
Nice to haves:
- Exposure to Bitbucket, Jenkins, Unix Shell scripting and Mainframe Testing.
- Knowledge of Logstash, Kafka, Kibana, ElasticSearch and Batch service testing
- Knowledge of JIRA, Planview and Zephyr for JIRA.
- Knowledge of DevOps
