Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do 

  • Manage one or more of Nextracker software products with the goal of aligning the products with Nextracker’s Corporate goals and defining each product’s vision, KPIs and development roadmap
  • Assume complete ownership of assigned products by becoming an expert on the product and being the product evangelist who continuously strives to make the product successful driving user adoption and value to the company  
  • Engage all the stakeholders in contributing to the product goals and aligning their respective functions with the product vision
  • Develop in-depth understanding of our customers to create buyer/user personas that inform product decisions. 
  • Lead quantitative and qualitative research, synthesize findings, and make recommendations to senior product leadership. 
  • Translate customer needs and business goals into intuitive, valuable product features. 
  • Create user stories and work with UX designers on flows and prototypes. 
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery. 
  • Continually track and analyze usage metrics to measure experience success and uncover areas for optimization. 
  • Stay up to date on market trends, emerging best practices, and competitors. 

Here is some of what you’ll need (required) 

  • 5+ years serving as a Software Product Manager for software applications, including in the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong background in managing energy infrastructure solutions, comprising hardware and software components 
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and advocating for the customer experience. 
  • Strong analytical abilities and data-driven mindset. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Here are a few of our preferred experiences 

  • Experience managing highly technical, enterprise products from inception to scale
  • Experience working in the energy industry is a big plus
  • Utility scale energy product experience is a plus
