Product Engineer
As a Product Engineer at Rocket Code, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative and high-quality software solutions. This role requires a combination of technical skills, effective communication, and project management, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Product Management and Development:
- Actively participate in discussions with the software development team, designers, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into User Stories.
- Translate customers' conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear and understandable manner for developers.
- Analyze the technical feasibility, resources, tools, and cost of the development process.
- Develop accurate and comprehensive documentation of product functionalities, including technical specifications, flowcharts, and use cases to guide development and ensure consistency in implementation.
- Leadership and Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate the development of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to ensure successful product delivery.
- Work across multiple virtual teams with different timelines and objectives.
- Define milestones, success criteria, manage dependencies, and deliver iteratively.
- Communicate product status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively to stakeholders.
- Infrastructure and Technical Development:
- Manage SQL databases and optimize queries to improve performance.
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Administer version control tools like Git to ensure code stability.
- Implement and supervise support systems on IIS servers and cloud environments.
- Quality and Agile Methodologies:
- Define and improve testing processes, documentation, and incident resolution in agile environments.
- Ensure proper communication with stakeholders and clients, guaranteeing efficient resolution of technical issues.
- Implement agile methodologies and project management tools like JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Ensure excellent Quality Assurance processes.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills in Spanish and conversational English.
- Ability to work and collaborate with people and teams located across multiple geographies.
- Clearly express customer needs, understand feature designs to inform development, and evaluate how the feature meets customer and business needs to make decisions about features.
- Ability to work independently, defining and managing your own work while maintaining transparency and accountability with your leaders and other stakeholders.
- Experience working in a software development organization using the Agile Scrum methodology.
- Logical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
- Understanding of new trends and technologies in the market.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, SQL.
- Understanding of database structures.
- Experience in technical leadership and software project management.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, Git, IIS, and Web Services.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with ticket management tools and agile methodologies.
- Ability to solve technical problems and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Intermediate-advanced level of English and Portuguese.

- Proficiency in digital tools such as OpenAI, Claude, Google Analytics, Google Suite, and project management tools like Jira.
