Role Description: Software Engineer - Wasabi AiR (EST/Central Time Zone)
Role Overview:
WasabiAiR team is looking for a proactive and curious Software Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is not afraid to ask questions, and enjoys solving complex problems. You will play a key role in building and optimizing, improve and innovate our Wasabi AiR product, and ensuring system reliability. We value candidates who take initiative, think critically, and challenge assumptions. You should be comfortable questioning existing solutions and exploring new approaches to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems, translate business needs into technical specifications, and independently develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Work with Wasabi AiR to manage backend and developments.
- Develop and optimize scripts using Python, Golang, or Rust.
- Deeply understand user problems and develop efficient, effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, test infrastructure, and deployment monitoring.
- Drive process improvements and proactively identify areas for optimization.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of experience in software developments with a strong understanding of backend systems.
- Experience developing in Golang or Rust (at least one required, both preferred); Python is a plus but not mandatory. Experience working in Linux environments with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with GitHub, and cloud platforms like (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience building REST APIs and cloud practices.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Experience in startups or fast-paced environments.
