TITLE: Software Engineer VI (Multiple Positions)
LOCATION: Maryland Heights, Missouri
JOB SUMMARY: Analyze and develop industry technology solutions based on customer requirements. Design, develop, modify, and implement applications and services designed to support organization applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and accurate manner to improve application performance and functionality. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies for migration consolidation and upgrade of system components. Lead code review sessions to validate adherence to development standards and provide input to development teams. Plan frameworks for upcoming projects and initiatives to accomplish them quickly and precisely. Influence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements. Analyze and resolve computer-related problems by coordinating with internal team members to diagnose and fix operational difficulties, as well as consulting, advising, and training on specialized features and functions. Resolve incidents and problems for production applications and web services supported by the team in accordance with identified service level agreements. Recommend efficiencies of various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs. Assess the hiring process of the team selection to ensure the balance between selecting skilled and experienced as required by the project. Work collectively with the product owner, program leadership, and others and support them in resolving hitching issues. Design, code, develop, and test applications in JavaScript programming language. Develop Enterprise Web applications using Angular and Java. Develop web applications using HTML and CSS. Develop microservices using Java, Spring, and Hibernate. Process data and perform database operations utilizing Oracle SQL. Build applications utilizing Microservices.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (Any) or related field. 5 years of experience with designing, coding, developing, and testing applications in JavaScript programming language. 3 years of experience developing Enterprise Web applications using Angular and Java; developing web applications using HTML and CSS; developing microservices using Java, Spring, and Hibernate; and processing data and performing database operations utilizing Oracle SQL. 2 years of experience building applications utilizing Microservices.
*A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
