ZoomInfo is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our passionate Applications Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern web development practices and experience in building responsive, high-performance web applications. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to create seamless and engaging user experiences. What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain user interfaces: Build and optimize the frontend of our web applications using modern web technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with designers, product managers, and backend developers to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Ensure responsiveness and performance: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across devices and browsers
- Write clean, maintainable code: Follow best practices in coding and contribute to code reviews
- Implement UI/UX designs: Turn design mockups and wireframes into functioning interfaces that are consistent with our brand and style guidelines
- Debugging and troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs or performance issues in the application
- Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously learn about new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes
What You'll Bring:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years experience with frontend frameworks/libraries: Hands-on experience with Angular 2.0+ or similar frameworks
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript: Strong understanding of core web technologies
- Responsive design principles: Ability to create responsive designs that work well across various devices and screen sizes
- Version control systems: Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization: Understanding of best practices for optimizing web applications
- Cross-browser compatibility: Experience ensuring consistent performance across different web browsers
- API integration: Ability to integrate frontend interfaces with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Ability to Develop and maintain Frontend systems: implementing new features and capabilities while maintaining the existing ones
- Experience with Cloud Providers: GCP, AWS
- Experience with Unit Tests: Jest, Jasmin or similar
- Self-motivated: Ability to work independently to complete tasks and collaborate with others to identify and implement solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with testing frameworks: Knowledge of tools like Cypress, Storybook, Jest or Mocha
- Familiarity with testing methodologies: TDD and BDD
