About the team
APAC ID&F Technology Group
The APAC ID&F Technology Group is responsible for supporting and developing GBG’s regional Identity Verification product suites (greenID, GBG Trust: Alert & CloudCheck) and for GBG’s new Application and Transaction Monitoring Fraud products & platforms (NextGen).
The role
This role, working within the APAC ID team, will report to the Engineering Manager (NZ) to primarily gather requirements, design, develop enhancements and support the CloudCheck production system. It is a true all-round role and requires a quick learner with a good attention to detail and ability to prioritise their work. In time, the scope of work may extend to the other identity systems in the region.
What you will do
Development
- Work with the business to refine development requirements and contribute to the design the requirements
- Deliver development requirements in a timely manner
- Help refine and deliver new product ideas
Maintenance & Support
- Maintain & improve the stability of Cloudcheck
- Fix bugs and release these fixes in a timely and professional manner on a schedule to suit business requirements
- Look for processing improvements and implement where necessary
- When escalated by the business, support external IT contacts with their IT issues
Enhancements
- Identify product and process enhancements
- Outline the role responsibilities in a bullet point list
What we are looking for
Essential
- Java web development experience
- API integrations
- Database integrations (Hibernate)
- Ability to work unsupervised
Desired
- AWS experience
- Auckland based
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
