We are looking for a React Developer to be included in the software development team, Tirana. The candidate will help us develop and maintain various software products. The developer will be part of the Betting Platform Team, responsible for development and maintenance of the betting platform of Sisal.
As a React Developer primary responsibility will be the front-end development of applications, collaborating closely with the development team based in our Italian branch. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of front-end development principles and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team environment.
What you’ll do:

You will develop new features for existing applications, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.

You will maintain and enhance existing applications by troubleshooting, fixing issues, and refactoring code to improve efficiency and reliability.

You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

You will write high-quality code, incorporating unit and integration testing to ensure robustness and reliability.

You will engage in code reviews, upholding best practices and ensuring that new code meets rigorous standards.

You will collaborate closely with peer development teams, DevOps, and support teams on technical documentation and other project-related deliverables.
Who you are :

You have extensive experience in React programming, with a deep understanding of the language.

You possess a solid knowledge of front-end design and architecture.

You are highly skilled in front-end frameworks, with a particular focus on React, including Redux, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

You have a strong command of HTML and CSS, enabling you to create responsive and visually appealing interfaces.

You have hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and JavaScript package managers (npm), along with knowledge of Node.js.

You are proficient in REST principles, OpenAPI, and WebSockets.

You have a strong understanding of software engineering trade-offs, particularly concerning extendibility, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

You possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively listen, articulate ideas, and facilitate discussions.

You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), and a good understanding of the Italian language is highly desirable.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not required.
Preferably, you also have:

Knowledge of JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and internationalization (I18N) is a plus.
