About the role:
As a Software Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining software features that enable our Enterprise customers to accomplish their goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements, design software architectures, and implement robust and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in Java, have in-depth knowledge of databases and SQL, demonstrate exceptional learning abilities, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable occasionally working with clients to troubleshoot problems and analyze their requests.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industry experience in Java and SQL development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as the role involves customer-facing interactions
- Proficiency in Java, SQL and related technologies.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Chinese language skills preferred
- Background in e-commerce a plus
