Position Summary
Selkirk Sport is an industry leader in pickleball innovation, dedicated to creating high-performance products and exceptional digital experiences for players. As we expand our online platform, PlayPickleball.com, we seek a Backend Developer in Estonia to help lead our pivot to a full code framework, leveraging Astro and integrating with Palantir.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a developers willing to innovate and take on new challenges. This position is ideal for someone who is excited about fast-paced development and wants to work on projects where they have a visible, consistent impact on business operations and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Participate in the entire app development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Develop applications on Palantir’s low-code platform.
- Create customer facing applications with FlutterFlow low-code platform.
- Develop custom functionality in Typescript and/or Python
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure smooth app functionality.
- Collaborate with business users to learn and improve processes using technology driven processes
- Document backend processes and workflows to support future development and scalability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver apps that meet user needs.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with modern software development practices, database management systems, and frameworks for building scalable applications
- Proficient in Typescript and/or Python
- Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Highly Proficient English speaking skills
