About the Role
We're on the hunt for a Social Media Coordinator who thrives on crafting scroll-stopping content, igniting conversations, and turning followers into brand superfans. You'll focus on maintaining an engaging content calendar for our Instagram and TikTok channels. Working within a small team, you'll juggle creativity and strategy while managing a robust content calendar and metric-guided performance stats to drive engagement.
Ooni has a hybrid approach to work, with a minimum of 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) at our office at Edinburgh Park.
What you'll do:

  1. Social Media Calendar:
    • Build and maintain a dynamic content calendar for Instagram and TikTok.
    • Ensure consistent, on-brand posting that resonates with our audience and tone of voice.
  2. Content:
    • Ideate and produce EGC that entertains and educates our community.
    • Identify user-generated content (UGC) and leverage trends to keep content fresh.
    • Monitor conversations and capitalise on opportunities to surprise and delight our audience.
    • Manage relationships and campaigns, ensuring smooth execution and measurable results.
    • Stay ahead of TikTok and Instagram trends, proposing new ways to engage audiences.
    • Experiment with emerging features, tools, and formats.
  3. Analytics & Insights:
    • Track and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, virality) for Instagram and TikTok.
    • Use data to refine content strategies and push boundaries with confidence.


What you'll need to succeed:

  • 3-5+ years in social media management, ideally with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Proven track record of managing successful influencer collaborations
  • Comfortable in short-form video storytelling and social media trends
  • Quick on the draw with witty captions and quirky, audience-first content
  • Strong project management skills to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Proficient in a CMS, bonus for: Sprout and Notion

What we do:

We design, make and sell AMAZING pizza ovens. They’re so AMAZING that lower-case adjectives just don’t do them justice.

Right now, we sell our pizza ovens all over the world. Hot and fast is how you cook truly great pizza, and- all of our models get hot as hell (that’s 932°F/500°C last time we checked) and cook incredible pizza in only 60 seconds. Before Ooni, if you wanted pizza that good, you had to go to a restaurant or spend thousands on a traditional pizza oven. Not anymore, friends.

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

Our team works on a hybrid schedule, typically working from the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays; however, we are flexible.

Located on the east side of Austin in one of the hippest neighborhoods, just 5 minutes from downtown. Our brand new office is next to Friends and Allies Brewery, Austin East Ciders and the Austin Bouldering Project. We are also close to amazing art studios, galleries, plant nurseries and restaurants
