REPORTS TO: VP of Content
As a dynamic and engaging voice in the pro-life movement, Live Action is seeking a full-time Social Media Content Creator (SMCC) to produce compelling and shareable content across social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator who thrives in front of the camera, possesses a strong understanding of digital trends, and can develop creative content that resonates with a broad audience. This role requires someone comfortable being a social media personality, engaging with audiences, and delivering high-impact messages that support Live Action’s mission.
The Social Media Content Creator must be highly strategic, passionate about storytelling, and deeply committed to Live Action’s mission. This role offers significant potential for growth and the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, highly productive team. The position can be remote, with a preference to be based in CA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as a primary on-camera talent for Live Action’s digital platforms, creating engaging video content for Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Developing and executing content strategies that amplify Live Action’s message and maximize audience engagement.
- Creating a wide variety of content formats, including short-form videos, reels, and others.
- Staying ahead of social media trends, viral challenges, and platform algorithm updates to optimize content reach and impact.
- Collaborating with the social media and content teams to brainstorm and execute new ideas for viral and evergreen content.
- Writing compelling scripts, captions, and call-to-action messaging that align with Live Action’s voice and values.
- Engaging with audiences by responding to comments, messages, and participating in conversations relevant to pro-life advocacy.
- Working with in-house videographers and editors to produce polished, high-quality content.
- Assisting in the development of influencer partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities.
- Occasionally representing Live Action at events, interviews, or media appearances.
Requirements:
- Strong on-camera presence with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
- Ability to script, produce, and present compelling content independently.
- Passionate about the pro-life movement with a basic understanding of pro-life apologetics.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on content for maximum effectiveness.
- Experience in video editing or familiarity with basic editing tools is a plus.
