POSITION SUMMARY
The Social & Digital Video Content Producer is responsible for developing and producing engaging video and multimedia content across Newrez’s social media channels, email marketing and website. This role will report to the Social Media Lead within the Marketing Department and be responsible for pitching content ideas, shooting/editing, and optimizing video content all to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive meaningful interactions.
DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Video Production: Pitch, plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos optimized for social media and email marketing (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Content Creation: Develop and execute compelling multimedia content including social-first videos, corporate event recaps, motion graphics, and animations.
- Event Coverage: Capture and produce live and pre-recorded content from company events, sponsorships, and employee engagement.
- Storytelling & Branding: Ensure all content aligns with Newrez’s brand identity, tone, and messaging while effectively communicating our business and marketing objectives.
- Following Trends: Stay up to date with social media trends, video best practices, and emerging platforms to keep our content progressive and innovative.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, creative, legal, and recruiting, to support company-wide initiatives with creative digital content.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field, preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience creating video for digital and social teams.
- Experience in the finance and/or mortgage industry is a plus.
- Proven experience in video production, editing, and digital content creation, from start to finish, for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and more.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other video editing software.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation; bonus if you’re a pro at storytelling using only these methods.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and platform-specific content strategies.
- Ability to shoot high-quality video content using cameras and mobile devices.
- Creative storytelling skills with a keen eye for design, pacing, and engagement.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines while adhering to compliance and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The salary expectation for this position is $75k - $90k, depending on experience.
