We are seeking a Junior SEO Associate to join our Growth Marketing team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone enthusiastic about starting a career in SEO and gaining practical, hands-on experience. As a Junior SEO Associate, you’ll support the team by maintaining and updating website content, creating and editing web pages through Hubspot's CMS, and ensuring device and browser compatibility, all while following SEO best practices.
Important: Prior experience in SEO or web development is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Page and Landing Page Creation: Build website pages and landing pages in HubSpot’s CMS (content and design will be provided).
- Website Editing and Updates: Perform updates to website content within HubSpot's CMS, to keep the site up-to-date and ensuring consistency and clarity.
- Compatibility Adjustments: Ensure website compatibility across devices and browsers by addressing layout or performance issues within HubSpot's CMS.
- Content Optimization: Implement basic content updates and follow SEO best practices for titles, meta descriptions, and headings.
- SEO Keyword Research: Assist in conducting keyword research to identify relevant search terms and new opportunities to improve rankings on search engines.
- SEO Audits: Assist in performing SEO audits and identifying areas for improvement on the website.
- Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, designers, and the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and functionality across all digital assets.
Our requirements for this position are:
- At least 1 year of experience in SEO or working with content management systems (Internships, coursework, or freelance projects are welcome).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and technical SEO.
- Familiarity with HubSpot CMS or other content management systems (CMS).
- Comfortable using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or SEMrush (training will be provided if needed).
- Basic HTML knowledge and an understanding of website structures.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- A passion for SEO and digital marketing, with a desire to continuously learn and grow in the field.
- Business fluency in English.
Additional Skills & Plus:
- Experience working with HubSpot CMS, including editing web pages, blogs, and landing pages.
- Basic understanding of website performance metrics and how to interpret SEO data.
- Interest in keeping up with SEO trends and algorithm changes.
