Do you believe that UX research belongs to the core strategy of great experiences? Are you convinced that successful product development is all about understanding users? Are you looking for teammates who appreciate open communication and face challenges together?
The GUIDE unit at Dynatrace is looking for a third experience discovery researcher to help drive UX strategy by understanding the competitive landscape, our users, and their core journeys.
As an experienced UX Researcher, you'll join a global team of over 50 design and experience practitioners across our R&D labs in Austria,
Poland, Spain, and the United States.
Your role

  • Plan, self-direct, and collaborate conducting end-to-end UX research studies that inform our UX strategy.
  • Extract and store meaningful insights (opportunities, hypotheses, requirements...) to keep our product at the cutting edge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability software, delivering great value and great experience.
  • Work and continuously partner with global experience design teams, product managers, engineers, customer support representatives, and customers.
  • Define, plan, and conduct user interviews, competitive analysis, surveys, data analysis, and any other fitting applied research methodologies for mainly generative, causal, and descriptive research.
  • Communicate findings regularly, stay collaborative, challenged, and hands-on.


Qualifications

  • You're acquainted with UX Design processes and product development lifecycles.
  • You have solid experience and a demonstrated track record of setting up and contributing to UX research projects for software products (indicatively 5+ years at least) - ideally with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • You have a high drive, ability to streamline conflicting interests, flexibility, and a dynamic mindset.
  • You enjoy leading meetings and holding workshops or presentations in English.
  • You can gather the necessary insights from research, propose recommendations based on business impact, and share them with different audiences within the organization.
  • You have experience working with B2B enterprise software.
  • You can work in small teams where there's no need for established and clear structures or processes.

Compensation and rewards

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options withnumerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to this position, which is EUR 60,000 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
