HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Varsity Brands is on the hunt for a bold and innovative Senior User Experience Designer to join our dynamic Innovation team. If you’re ready to push the envelope, break conventions, and craft seamless, user-friendly experiences for both internal teams and our customers, this is your chance. Reporting to the Director of User Experience, you’ll be a driving force in shaping our UX strategy, elevating customer satisfaction, and delivering cutting-edge digital tools that redefine user experiences.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in the fast lane—a creative problem-solver with a scrappy, can-do attitude and a strong portfolio showcasing visionary UX and product design. You'll contribute to creating engaging, intuitive, and impactful digital solutions, bridging business requirements, technology limitations, and customer desires into a unified experience. If you're passionate about redefining design standards and making big ideas happen with minimal resources, we want you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design Facilitation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams—tech, product, and business—to uncover needs, tackle tough challenges, and translate insights into bold, impactful design solutions that raise the bar for user experiences.
  • Customer Obsession: Conduct user research, empathy studies, and interviews to uncover pain points, then turn findings into actionable strategies and design concepts.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Frame problems, gather insights, and develop innovative methodologies to tackle user challenges head-on.
  • Prototyping at Every Level: Create user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and prototypes (low to high fidelity) that communicate ideas and inspire action.
  • Visual Storytelling: Build detailed storyboards to effectively convey design concepts to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborative Development: Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the development cycle to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Data-Driven Iteration: Conduct user testing, analyze feedback, and iterate designs to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Trendsetting Design Standards: Set and maintain UX design guidelines and best practices, ensuring a cohesive, world-class experience across digital platforms.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of UX trends and emerging technologies, introducing new ideas to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Creative Vision: The ability to think outside the box, challenge norms, and deliver impactful solutions with minimal resources.
