Essential Duties:
Measure and characterize mixed signal circuits and semiconductor devices.
Collect and analyze measurement data manually, or by writing automated test programs and scripts.
Work with IC design engineers to debug circuits and develop test strategies.
Must be comfortable working in a research laboratory environment.
Able to work on multiple projects and interact with multiple project leads.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in mixed signal IC testing and characterization.
Test development setup for measuring and characterizing complex analog and digital ICs.
Strong experience working with analog/mixed-signal/digital circuits.
Significant experience with high speed RF/microwave components and measurement techniques.
Understanding of RF design practices (e.g. controlled impedance transmission lines, crosstalk minimization, signal integrity, power integrity).
Experience using a wide variety of measurement equipment such as High-Speed Oscilloscopes, VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Time Domain Reflectometry TDR, Semiconductor Analyzers, Function/Waveform Generators, etc.
Able to develop custom code to make automated measurements and to analyze/process data using GPIB, USB, or other data interfaces.
Good understanding of coding languages such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, C, C++, etc.
Familiar with time-domain simulation software such Spice or EM simulation software a plus.
Experience with the latest test equipment and most advanced measurement methods.
Able to multi task among different projects.
Good understanding of semiconductor device physics and measurement methods for device modeling.
Required Education:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related scientific discipline.
Special Requirements:
US citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active SSBI is a plus.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $132,765 - $165,983 + bonus + benefits.
