Customers using Industry Messaging services include large multi-national corporates as well as small enterprises and public organizations. The provider unit of Industry Messaging services is Data Platforms as a part of Tietoevry Industry having approx. 450 employees in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Latvia, Poland and India.
You will be responsible for
You will be part of an agile product development team, with responsibility for test planning, execution and reporting, as well as defect lifecycle management, in order to ensure deliveries of Industry Messaging solutions with high quality and customer satisfaction.
You will interact with internal stakeholders as well as customer business and IT representatives during customer demonstrations, validation and acceptance tests and production start support.
You will sometimes act as Test Leader, developing and controlling test plans to cover the project activities, report status, risks and issues to project management.
We expect you to have:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in testing with strong willingness to learn
- Strong experience in functional testing including all facets of the Software Lifecycle
- Knowledge about database - query, understand database model etc.
- Experience from testing GUI-based products
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices & testing methodologies
- Test Data creation and management
- Knowledge about test plan, test strategy and use of them
- ISTQB certification is preferred
Good to have (advantage):
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium or Playwright would be an advantage
- Experience in any Test Management tools like Quality Center, JIRA TestFLO,
- Experience in working in distributed Scrum teams
