We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.
Senior Engineering Sourcer
Redwood Materials is looking to hire a Senior Engineering Sourcer to identify and attract the best talent for our company. In this role, you will utilize different channels to search for and connect with passive candidates and build talent pipelines. You will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership to play a strategic role in scaling a variety of technical teams.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement search strategies to build candidate pipelines for multiple roles and teams.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of engineering roles, specifically in design and manufacturing, to evaluate both technical skills and cultural fit.
- Conduct industry research to target and source top talent around the world.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to determine position requirements.
- Source and generate candidates through various creative sourcing techniques and channels.
- Build relationships with passive candidates to create a pipeline of high potential talent.
- Complete pre-screen phone interviews with candidates and identify those to move forward.
- Manage and guide candidates throughout the interview process to ensure a great candidate experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, or similar preferred.
- 5+ years of engineering sourcing experience in a rapid growth setting.
- Proven experience in sourcing engineers specialized in design and manufacturing.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of engineering design disciplines, including but not limited to power electronics, mechanical, electrical, controls, chemical process, firmware/software, and automation.
- Proficiency in sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings).
- Experience with tactical research and building sourcing strategies with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to source highly technical roles, preferably in an engineering discipline.
- Ability to effectively approach and screen passive candidates.
- Experience building trusted relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
