The Role

As the Sr. Technical Content Marketing Manager, you will help oversee the delivery of technical content assets to engage target personas. You excel at the intersection of technical expertise and storytelling. Reporting into the Director, Content Strategy, your close partnership with internal and external collaborators will inspire and educate technical decision-makers on how AI can maximize their customer data’s value. You’ll author blogs, technical guides, video scripts, webinars, podcasts, and other content that helps our target audience understand how to embrace AI to solve today’s data challenges. Your ownership of technical content assets will bridge the gap between our technical documentation and go-to-market promises by providing important expertise and best practices on how to solve real-world use cases in our product.

Interesting Problems

  • Lead the development of technical expertise, showcasing how businesses can use AI to solve today’s customer data needs.
  • Brainstorm new ways for us to connect with technical buyers: including a test-and-try mindset about new media, channels, or approaches to reach technical audiences. 
  • Collaborate hand-in-hand with product and engineering to highlight the best practices for using our latest innovations. 
  • Understand our customers, their needs, and the competitive landscape to inform how we tell our story.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to achieve marketing’s goals of lead generation and market awareness. 
  • Provide editorial and operational support to ensure assets are curated and up-to-date for our target audience.
  • Work with our design and creative teams to create industry-leading branding, graphics, and videos.

About You

  • Experience helping technical audiences solve challenges using the latest and greatest AI techniques. 
  • First-rate writing and editing experience with programming languages such as SQL, Java, Python. that allows you to translate complex technical concepts into content that resonates with technical buyers.
  • 8+ years of experience writing for technical buyers.  You excel at creating content like blogs, articles, or serialized resources for data-centric products.
  • Apply insights to recommended outcomes and communicate to broader audiences
  • Experience in digital and traditional content-driven lead generation is a big plus
  • Experience collaborating across teams—whether with engineers, product managers, or marketing professionals— to create compelling content that aligns with product strategy and marketing goals.
  • Writing samples are required.

Location 

Seattle, WA or New York, NY

We have a hybrid work model for employees based in Seattle, WA, and New York, NY, with three days in the office days each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility

Compensation

Base Salary:  $112,000 - $150,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. 

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options:  The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
