The Senior System Reliability Engineer, Splunk is responsible for the deployment, management, and support of Veeam's enterprise-wide log collection and management solutions. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design and maintain our Splunk environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our logging and monitoring systems. This role is critical in providing visibility and insights across our technology stack, supporting both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Your tasks will include:
- Deploy, configure, and support cloud and on-premises Splunk Enterprise components
- Design and maintain log collection solutions for large-scale network, systems, applications, services, and business activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement logging solutions that meet stakeholder needs
- Develop and maintain data representation and reporting solutions within Splunk
- Manage log source connections, integrations, and ongoing support
- Configure and maintain alert systems and automated reporting mechanisms
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Splunk solutions and processes
- Perform continuous optimization of Splunk deployment and configurations
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SIEM systems
What we expect from you:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Splunk Enterprise deployment, configuration, and administration
- Demonstrated expertise in Splunk architecture, components, modules, and plug-ins (cloud & on-premises)
- Strong proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL)
- Solid understanding of large-scale application and network architecture
- Strong experience with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) preferred
- Knowledge of other SIEM platforms is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills
