You will assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will help ensure that Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.
How you will contribute
The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and you will support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

- Managing the project in all phases, from idea to ready solution and all projects' aspects: scope defining, timing control, budget control, risks analysis, execution, start-up and commissioning.
You will play an important role as you will be a part of the key investment projects in Clinceni plant's investment agenda.
More about this role
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer who will co-create the growth and productivity investment agenda in our Mondelez factory in Clinceni. We're looking for a Senior Project Engineer who will be focused in process machinery (ingredients handling, mixing, processing, baking) and packaging machinery (flow wrappers, case packers, palletizers etc.)
Key responsibilities and scope:
- Being a part of the Project Management Office, responsible for the key projects in plant investment road map
- Performing the overall day-to-day management of multiple tasks to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints
- Managing the engineering stream of the project in areas of responsibility, such as: mixing machinery and equipment like solid and liquid raw materials storing, handling and dosing, process machinery and equipment like mixers, kitchens, CIP stations and packaging machinery and equipment like flow wrappers, case packers, palletizing robots.
- Interacting daily with the internal clients to interpret their needs and requirements during all project phases
- Performing the overall control of the work (budget control, time schedule control, resources control, commissioning and verification control) and report regularly on project status;
- Managing the external contractors working on site and ensuring they are following Mondelez safety standards and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering / process engineering / food industry and/or project management is preferred
- At least 2-3 year of work experience in project management is required
- Project Management experience (in large scale projects) is preferred
- Industrial project experience is preferred
- Previous experience in leading, motivating and engaging teams preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCad/ Lean Six Sigma
- Ability to work independently and drive results critical
- Working experience with multinational teams and stakeholders is an asset
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Communicative level of Romanian is required
- Written and spoken English to a professional business level is a must
Education / Certifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering / process engineering / food industry and/or project management
