The Senior System Reliability Engineer, SolarWinds is responsible for the deployment, management, and support of Veeam's enterprise-wide monitoring solutions. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design and maintain our SolarWinds environment, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of our networks, systems, and applications. This role is critical in maintaining the health and performance of our technology stack, providing real-time visibility and proactive management of our infrastructure.
Your tasks will include:
- Deploy, configure, and support large-scale monitoring solutions for networks, systems, applications, and business services
- Design and implement monitoring architectures using SolarWinds and related toolsets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver monitoring solutions that meet stakeholder needs
- Develop and maintain custom monitoring solutions and integrations
- Configure and manage alert systems and escalation procedures
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for monitoring systems, components, and scripts
- Develop and implement monitoring policies and best practices
- Perform continuous optimization of monitoring configurations and thresholds
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure monitoring
What we expect from you:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SolarWinds deployment, configuration, and administration
- Demonstrated expertise in SolarWinds architecture and monitoring systems
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language supported by SolarWinds (multiple languages preferred)
- Solid understanding of large-scale application and network architecture
- Strong experience with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Zabbix monitoring system is a plus
- Experience with fault management and performance optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
