About the role:
 

As a Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You’ll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for administering, implementing, configuring, maintaining, and securing systems in a large enterprise environment.

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you’ll:

• Monitor, escalate and remediate NAS & SAN device/application alerts {access, performance, events} to identify/potential incidents.

• Provide storage provisioning for NAS/CAS/SAN systems

• Provide level three DAS, SAN, NAS configuration and management support and expertise related to the storage environment as required

• Develop a data storage infrastructure plan

• Configure and deploy storage and monitor storage performance.

• Ensure disaster recovery strategies are in place

• Deploy, configure, maintain & document enterprise storage area network and network attached storage components.

• Respond to 24x7 notification of failures and alarm events to ensure capacity requirements are met

• Respond to Incident Management tickets relating to storage capacity, performance, access, configuration changes

• Be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, security and availability of the storage and SAN infrastructure based on business requirements and adhering to strict operational, security and procedural models

• Provide business critical support and maintenance of FC SAN switch and storage environments across global regions.

• Be responsible for storage design and engineering, planning, implementation and support of all storage networking file system technologies such as NFS, CIFS, SMB, iSCSI, NDMP and FCoE

• Be maintaining the overall health of the environment, storage design and engineering, implementing complex changes, and providing troubleshooting support for storage and backup infrastructure environments.

What you bring:

• Degree in Computer Science

• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support

• Good oral and written English is a must

• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux, Linux OS, Windows Server, VMWare.

• Experience on backup, snapshots and restore of the environments

• Good knowledge of storage products (HPE 3par, Pure Storage, Dell Storage EqualLogic, PowerMax, IBM XIV)

• Good knowledge of backup products(Veeam backup, NetBackup, ExaGrid…).

• Regular compliance monitoring to maintain FIS standard policy requirements.

• Prepare documentation of systems, controls and monitoring.

• Network administration skills (Brocade SAN switches, TCP, VPN, HTTPS, SSH, SSL, FTP)

• Experience of working with Active Directory (2008, 2012 & ADManager Plus)

• Knowledge of monitoring systems (Centrion, Nagios, Nagvis, VictorOps)

• Experience with ticketing tools (Snow, Jira, etc) is a must
