What HR Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
HR Operations is responsible for the administration and efficiency of HR data transactions, processes, audits, and calculations and managing internal programs and projects.
The myHR Service Center team is responsible for general employee inquiries, management & maintenance of employee data, and efficiency of HR data transactions and processes. Our mission is to drive frictionless experience by providing optimal solutions and support for our customers.
Job Summary
HR Service Center Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding Unemployment processes and Verification of employment practices. Acts as escalation point for Unemployment and Verification compliance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
- Run daily audits and sign off on controls weekly.
- Monitor the Unemployment email folder and send emails to internal Cardinal Health people leaders.
- Track and maintain records related to unemployment claims
- Process and complete cases in a case management system within defined Service Level Agreements
- Partner with the unemployment and verification Vendor, HR Service Center teammates and Legal to evaluate continuous improvement opportunities.
- Process employee Legal name changes in the Human Capital Management system (Workday), as needed.
- Protect Cardinal Health and ensure strict compliance and attention to detail.
- Raises awareness and identifies potentially fraudulent documentation and takes appropriate action to protect Cardinal Health.
- May assist with or lead special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in related field, preferred
- Uncompromising commitment to client and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage escalated customer situations.
- Knowledge and experience with HR systems (Service Now, Workday etc.) preferred
- Critical eye for detail and appreciation for data accuracy and integrity.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement focus and skillset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both internal customers, vendors and team members.

Anticipated hourly range: $27.00 per hour - $38.70 per hour
