Role

The Senior Specialist, Corporate Marketing will be based in our New York City headquarters and play a pivotal role in elevating the Octus brand and driving impactful content across marketing platforms. This position combines planning and project management, hands-on content development, and cross-functional collaboration to execute exceptional marketing initiatives. You'll craft compelling media, PR, digital, video, and thought-leadership content that amplifies our brand message and fuels our growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media content that drives audience engagement and expands our presence across LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, and new platforms. 
  • Partner with internal teams to accelerate employee advocacy content and amplify Octus’ voice. 
  • Monitor channel performance and make recommendations to optimize and improve engagement.
  • Lead the creation of high-quality written, visual, and video assets, including blog posts, newsletters, video scripts, and short-form social media content.
  • Collaborate with executives and subject matter experts to develop thought-leadership materials such as byline articles, executive social posts, and speaking engagement preparation. 
  • Work closely with external PR agencies to execute media engagement support that increases Octus’ share of voice. 
  • Assist with the development of press releases, interviews, and media pitches to elevate Octus executives and subject matter experts as industry authorities. 
  • Partner with the podcast producer to create engaging content by sourcing guests, drafting scripts/show rundowns, and ensuring smooth internal collaboration across the organization. 
  • Assist with the production of short-form and long-form video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and company brand initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with growth and product marketing teams to adapt and deploy campaign materials for various platforms, ensuring brand consistency. 
  • Atomize long-form content into bite-sized formats for optimal engagement across marketing assets. 
  • Monitor content performance metrics, providing data-driven reports to executives and marketing leadership to inform future strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate or digital marketing, with a proven record of success in content creation, social media management, and multi-channel campaigns. 
  • Experience within B2B environments, particularly in fintech, broadcast journalism, or private equity-backed companies, is a significant advantage. 
  • Expertise with tools such as Canva, Monday.com, social scheduling platforms, and AI writing tools like Jasper. 
  • Familiarity with podcast editing and video production tools, such as Riverside.FM and Adobe suite. 
  • Outstanding writing and copyediting skills, capable of distilling complex information into clear and engaging content tailored to audience needs. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling and engaging digital content, including graphics and short-form videos. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the proven ability to juggle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Adept at partnering across departments, working closely with executives, technical teams, and external agencies to achieve shared goals.
