Role
The Director of Digital Marketing will oversee digital strategy planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This leader will provide expertise on digital marketing channels, offer strategic views on where and how to play, and collaborate closely with the growth team responsible for revenue operations and campaigns. A deep understanding of website strategy, MarTech tools and their application in driving results is essential. The role will also involve leading efforts to optimize and innovate website experiences, leveraging search engine optimization (SEO), artificial intelligence optimization (AIO) and paid campaigns to enhance traffic. Additionally, this individual will oversee the end-to-end customer experience and journey mapping to ensure seamless, impactful interactions across touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic vision for the company website, ensuring it supports business goals, delivers exceptional user experience, and drives conversions.
- Drive website innovation and optimization, ensuring it remains a competitive differentiator through best practices.
- Utilize SEO and AIO tools to enhance traffic acquisition and engagement strategies, ensuring data-driven enhancements to user interactions.
- Drive cross-channel optimization, ensuring seamless integration between paid, organic, and website to drive lead conversion and engagement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on digital marketing channels, providing strategic recommendations on optimal channel usage and campaign execution.
- Ensure effective planning, execution, and performance of multi-channel digital campaigns, including web, SEO and paid.
- Provide strategic guidance to the product marketing team on what content works and where there are opportunities to expand.
- Partner with the data team to build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that inform optimization and demonstrate marketing’s impact on business performance.
- Track KPIs to evaluate the impact of digital marketing activities.
- Manage budgets to ensure efficient spending and maximum ROI across all campaigns
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing at a B2B company with the result of generating marketing qualified leads and increasing brand awareness.
- Expertise in website strategy, user experience design, customer journey mapping, and leveraging AIO for traffic acquisition and optimization.
- Strong experience with cross-channel digital marketing (web, SEO, email, social, and content, paid media).
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of using analytics and insights to optimize strategies and campaigns.
- Proficiency with key tools such as Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot/Marketo), and ad management platforms (Google, LinkedIn).
- Experience collaborating with revenue operations teams to drive growth
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located

As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.
The base salary range estimate for this position is $140,000 - 150,000.
The actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an additional annual discretionary bonus.
