Solution Consultant
About the role
We currently have a need for a Solution Consultant for our ONESOURCE Global Trade Management suite of solutions in our London office to support our European sales team.
This role requires the technical knowledge and experience to discuss complex supply chain issues facing multinationals today with a particular focus on Europe. The specialist should understand the day-to-day challenges facing global companies in complying with supply chain obligations be able to discuss clients processes, technology needs and providing insight on how to improve and implement processes and technology to resolve challenges. The Solution Consultant conducts thorough needs analysis for targeted demonstrations, uncovers potential objections, and assists in defining the competitive landscape.
The Solution Consultant actively drives and manages the technology evaluation part of the sales process and is an integral member of the Sales team, providing product demo and support on the technical aspects of proposals for all our ONESOURCE Global Trade Management solutions. They will be responsible for engaging with customers to identify current process and requirements, identifying areas of process improvement and presenting the proposed set of solutions and articulating the value proposition of the product to an customers.
The Solution Consultant will also help to shape the ONESOURCE Global Trade Management suite of products and direction of the company by communicating market needs to the Product Management team. The successful candidate will be working with colleagues around the globe on exciting initiatives in a growth environment.
Internal Job Responsibilities

Being an EMEA product expert for the ONESOURCE Global Trade Management suite of solutions and working with the other Solution Consultants in the team to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are apprised of latest developments and the product roadmap.

Producing and maintaining demo data and technical resources for the Sales teams to use, training the Sales team on these, refining these and updating these materials as necessary.

Collecting feedback from the field and working with their Manager and Product Management on the go to market strategy.

Working with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that our message is being communicated and the material that supports that message is up to date.

Supporting go to market activities, such as white papers, delivering webinars, marketing campaigns, etc.
External Job Responsibilities

Responsible for representing our ONESOURCE Global Trade Management products to current and potential clients.

Supporting the Sales team with sales opportunity qualification and performing technical scope discovery of solution(s) required to address prospect and customer requirements.

Supporting the Sales team on selling the value of the ONESOURCE Global Trade Management products using multiple formats/channels, including phone calls, presentations, and onsite/online product demonstrations.

Coordinate closely with the Sales team in putting together proposals to align solutions design with customer business requirements.

Taking responsibility for the client experience and ensuring that customer excellence is delivered throughout the sales cycle and delivery process.

Being the 'face' of the product at industry conferences and other events
About you
You’re a fit for the role of Solution Consultant if you have the following required qualifications:

Be a dynamic presenter and quick thinker

Experience of working with global trade management and supply chain software

Industry experience of working in supply chain preferred

Guiding corporations and firms to improve efficiency

Have an ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

Experienced in demonstrating and presenting software solutions preferred

Experienced in presenting with the personal gravitas to instill confidence in Thomson Reuters and our products

European (business) language skills preferred (German, French, Spanish preferred)
