Job Description
As a Solution/Delivery Architect at Ollion, you will play a pivotal role in steering our clients' projects from inception to completion. This position offers a blend of innovative design, thought leadership, and hands-on involvement throughout the entire customer journey. You will be instrumental in shaping impactful solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
Financial Services Industry (FSI) Experience: You have directly worked within the banking and financial services industry within a infrastructure services capacity helping to deliver or design solutions within either infrastructure or application areas.
Pre-Sales Engagement: Lead in the cultivation and development of leads, engaging in initial client consultations to understand their needs. Drive the creation of high-level solution designs, providing accurate estimations, and crafting compelling statements of work.
Solution Design and Architecture: Be the thought leader in designing solutions that are both innovative and practical, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards. Seamlessly transition from high-level to low-level solution design, ensuring clarity and feasibility in implementation.
Project Delivery and Leadership: Collaborate closely with delivery teams, acting as a bridge between initial design and hands-on implementation. Provide ongoing guidance and leadership throughout the delivery phase, ensuring adherence to the envisioned architecture and addressing technical challenges.
Product and Service Development: Utilize your experience and insights, along with the collective knowledge of our extensive Solution team, to contribute to the development of next-generation products and services. Be a key player in bringing these innovative solutions to market, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Client Relationship and Impact: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering solutions that make a significant impact. Play a leading role in not just meeting but enhancing client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
Continuous Learning Set aside the time to develop skills and knowledge to broaden your experience and understanding of different technology domains. Work to share this knowledge internally and externally through evangelism, utilizing different forums and mediums,
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Cloud Technologies, specific focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) (GCP or AWS Certified necessary). Additional cloud platform experience is ideal but if not, a strong interest to learn and develop skills across all three major CSPs (GCP, AWS and Azure) is needed.
- Experience supporting sales and presenting in front of enterprise clients.
- Experience in high level application portfolio analysis and discovery to determine application migration and modernization paths
- Experience in database modernization and migration to purpose-built databases.
- Experience implementing enterprise integration patterns
- Understanding of key cloud native technology solutions such as CI/CD pipelines, open-source and cloud native technologies.
- Demonstrable experience in defining and assuring the estimation of architecture work.
- Experience with leading migration projects covering No-VM environments to VM on-prem or in cloud environments. This could also include ‘lift and shift’ or full modernization migrations.
- Exhibit excellent understanding of the managed cloud hosting business concepts (AWS, GCP, Azure), market practices and trends.
- Demonstrable skills and expertise with cloud architecture best practices and thought leadership in their practical application.
- Customer-centric mindset: A strong focus on understanding and prioritizing the needs of customers and a genuine commitment to their success.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Relationship-building abilities: The capability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, especially from mid to senior levels.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve customer issues and challenges.
- Time management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple customer accounts and tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive approach: Being proactive in identifying potential issues, opportunities for improvement, and going the extra mile to ensure customer success.
- Team player: Collaborating effectively with other teams within the organization, such as sales, marketing, and product development.
- Adaptability: Being adaptable to different customer personalities, challenges, and evolving company needs.
