Senior Software Engineer

About the Team:
Join Zoom as a Senior Software Engineer to build and support cloud-native solutions in CPQ, Order to Cash, and more. We're looking for engineers with a "go-getter" attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating great software. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure server-side functionalities using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL, and AWS.

• Design modular, reusable software components while optimizing code for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of cloud-native projects, ensuring 24/7 production system availability.

• Establish and champion engineering best practices, coding standards, and continuous process improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud-native solutions and provide production support.

• Utilize Agile methodology, conduct design reviews, and create technical documentation with UML diagrams and design patterns.

What we’re looking for:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of frontend software development experience.

• Deep knowledge of Java, Spring MVC, RESTful APIs, microservices, multithreading, and low-latency API development.

• Proficiency in relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, distributed caching (Redis, Memcache), and search technologies (Elasticsearch, Lucene).

• Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD tools (Jenkins), containerization (Docker), version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Gradle).

• Advanced grasp of authentication (OAuth, JWT), secure coding (OWASP), system reliability, failovers, and monitoring (Splunk, ELK, Datadog).

• Excellent communication skills, familiarity with third-party integrations, design patterns, Agile methodologies, and software internationalization.

• Flexibility in working hours as you will be working with a global team.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$124 000,00

Maximum:

$271 200,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
