We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, to drive the evolution of our infrastructure into a scalable, observable, and resilient foundation for our growing SaaS platform. You’ll focus on building robust AWS cloud resources, reducing technical debt, and fostering innovation to enhance efficiency and reliability. In this role, you’ll enable our engineering teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions—like push-button test environments and abstracted AWS resources—while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. We thrive on teamwork and shared enthusiasm, which is why this role involves joining us in the office for two days each week.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and refine AWS infrastructure using best practices to improve performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments and improve reliability.
- Improve observability and monitoring to detect and resolve issues faster.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance application performance and scalability.
- Review and refine architecture designs for new services, refactors, and scaling of existing solutions following AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Enhance developer experience by streamlining workflows, reducing operational friction, and enabling push-button test environments.
- Abstract AWS resources to simplify and standardize cloud infrastructure for engineering teams.
- Support a 24/7 on-call rotation, lead post-incident reviews, and share key findings to improve reliability
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE-focused software engineering.
- 3+ years of coding experience (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Java preferred).
- Deep AWS expertise, including infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proven ability to maintain and scale mission-critical production systems.
- Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
- Passionate about improving software stacks and enhancing the developer experience.
- Clear communicator who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
- Committed to ethical practices and always striving to do what’s right.
