As the Director, People and Business Partnering, you’ll lead and shape our HR Business Partner function, working closely with leaders and employees to align people strategies with business goals. We thrive on teamwork and shared enthusiasm, which is why this role involves joining us in the office for two days each week.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on partner to leaders, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations.
- Use people metrics to drive talent decisions that improve engagement, retention, and performance.
- Partner with business leaders to design and execute initiatives that empower inclusive, high-performing teams while driving alignment, accountability, and growth.
- Lead organizational design efforts to ensure clear roles, scalable structures, and career development opportunities.
- Champion Hi Marley’s culture by driving people programs that enhance the employee experience and addressing employee relations with fairness and empathy.
- This role offers the opportunity to build and lead the HRBP function, directly impacting the growth and success of Hi Marley’s people and business, while helping to establish core leadership expectations that promote equity, alignment, performance, and engagement across teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience in HR business partnering roles, especially in fast-growing or evolving organizations.
- Proven ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in HRBP functions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influence skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leading change management and driving organizational effectiveness.
- Expertise in using data and people analytics to inform decisions and shape strategies.
- Commitment to building inclusive, people-first environments and managing complex employee relations.
- Background in high-growth or start-up environments with demonstrated ability to scale HR operations.
