What You Will Do:

• An UI developer, who has designed and developed highly responsive UIs for large enterprise web applications and has worked in a product development company. You will be instrumental in developing the responsive UI, architecture, technology and integration strategy for this next generation capability of the Mediaocean products.




Responsibilities will include:

• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (Knockout, React)
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement and maintain unit tests using Jasmine, Karma, Jest or Cypress
• Contribute to improving team development standards and processes
• Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and best practices
• Provide detailed Design for complex UI problems
• Estimating Development Effort for functional requirements from product team
• Compliance with programming standards and techniques approved for use within the development group
• Participate in Technical and Functional review sessions, code reviews following coding and quality standards

Who You Are:

• Candidate must have experience of 5-7 years in front end development.
• Proven track record of delivering quality software on time
• Hands-on experience with at least one UI framework (Knockout, React)
• Very high personal standards for code quality and attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and current web development trends
• Exceptional proficiency with JavaScript, ES6, and object-oriented concepts
• In-depth knowledge of browser DOM APIs and cross-browser compatibility issues
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Babel, Webpack, NPM)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
