Justification

Current Senior Site Reliability Engineer is moving teams, and this is a necessary replacement to ensure proper coverage for Workday and Financial systems we support. This was approved by ITLOC.

Job Description

Maintain System environments/instances for effective monitoring, logging, and analysis

Support proactive system monitoring and incident response
Collaborate with SRE, development and business teams to understand requirements and provide solutions for performance and reliability issues

Collaborate effectively across multiple IT teams, external strategic vendors, and a broad group of user stakeholders

Drive Operational excellence for all new functionality, applications, projects, and changes impacting business operations

Partner with multiple development areas to advance modernization and cloud transformation as well as reduce technical debt

Implement automation, performance improvement and application modernization.

Perform data analysis and visualization to identify trends, potential issues, and areas of improvement

Troubleshoot and resolve app/system related issues, including performance tuning and integration challenges

Develop and maintain documentation for Workday configurations, processes, and best practices

Participate in On-Call rotations and provide support during critical incidents to ensure system reliability

Stay updated with the latest Technology features and industry best practices, and recommend improvements

Utilize diagnostic tools to monitor system performance , identify bottlenecks, and optimize application and infrastructure performance

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 2 or more years of IT experience
    • Experience coordinating software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications?
    • Experience ensuring proper controls is established and maintained over production systems and software source code
    • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Cloud experience is highly desired
    • Experience supporting applications and business
    • Handling outage calls

    Work-At-Home Requirements

    • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
    • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  
    • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
    • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

    Pay Range

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


     

    $106,900 - $147,000 per year


     

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
