Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain an inventory of 3 rd parties who possess and/or access DISH data, what data the 3 rd party possess/accesses, how the data is used, and its life cycle within the 3 rd party.
  • Support completion of DISH's security review process for all new 3rd parties that receive and/or have access to DISH data.
  • Collaborate with business partners across the enterprise in the execution of DISH's Third Party Monitoring program.
  • Monitor open 3rd party issues and remediation actions associated with security control gaps to ensure timely closure.
  • Participate in DISH's annual PCI audit, leading the effort regarding 3 rd parties within the scope of the audit.
  • Continuously improve the overall TPRM program.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of information security concepts and controls
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work within deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, design project plans, and provide project updates
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and/or supervision
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to ask questions, escalate roadblocks early, and interact effectively at multiple levels in the organization
  • Data entry - attention to detail with the ability to correct on the fly and work independently


EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3-4 years of experience working in Third Party Risk Management
  • Experience in leading projects
  • Experience working with contract documents is a big plus - contract administration and management, not negotiation
  • Bachelors degree required
