Position Summary
Our Software Development Team works closely with Quench’s internal Business Analysts and customers to drive automation of processes as well as enhance and help manage integrations to our various business systems for our Salesforce.com environment. This includes technical design/development, configuration, maintenance, and integration with other systems. The successful candidate must be able to use Salesforce and other software tools to creatively design, prototype, and implement solutions for our company’s unique needs. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you will work directly with the system, lead multiple technical projects or portions at one time, as well as provide solutions that are highly usable, scalable, and maintainable. They will be self-motivated, detail-oriented problem solver with excellent documentation and communication skills. They will take responsibility for finding solutions and will drive towards simple solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities
The Salesforce Software Developer will be a core member of the Development Operations Team which maintains the source of truth for Quench’s data across multiple systems. Specific responsibilities include:
- Analyze company processes and design workflows and custom Salesforce solutions
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy solutions
- Responsible for developing using variety of on platform tools available (native functionality, flow, apex, LWC, etc.)
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Utilize Git software for source control
- Stay on top of new products and technologies
- Flexible to adjust to shifting priorities according to business needs
- Review code written by peers
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or specialized training/certification, or equivalent work experience.
· 3+ years of related work experience
· Strong organizational and leadership skills and experience
· Experience with Agile software development environment
· Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming
· Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
· General web development experience
· Excellent debugging skills
· Salesforce Service Cloud architecture and development experience
· API Integration with Salesforce experience
· Expert knowledge of Flow, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, JavaScript, and SOQL tools
· Understanding of APEX batch strategies to enable asynchronous processing
· Willing to take initiative and be innovative
· Consultative and customer-service-oriented in nature in working with the business
· Able to anticipate, identify, and solve problems through root cause analysis to deliver practical, timely solutions
· Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other IT team members

· Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
