What You'll Do
The Senior Salesforce Developer works in conjunction with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to build declarative solutions to meet business requirements. This role will be required to use Salesforce best practices to implement new features on the Salesforce platform and perform custom development. Salesforce developers may be called on to assist with activities like scoping and documentation when appropriate. Developers will also be responsible for maintaining platform health / optimization and triaging technical support escalations as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Experienced Senior Salesforce resource to assist in Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud configuration, declarative development, Salesforce CPQ and system integrations.

Work closely with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and integrated apps.

Configure, test, document and maintain out of the box and / or custom solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce platform.

Participate in technical design sessions; collaborate with Solution Design Architects and develop technical solution documentation aligned with business requirements and objectives

Follow standard development lifecycle activities within the SAFE Agile process

Participate in technical reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed

Provide level of effort estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks

Review, analyze impact and recommend new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce related to SFDC releases

Triage and resolve production defects as assigned

Mentor other developers within the Mimecast Salesforce Development team
What You'll Bring
-
6+ years of progressively responsible experience in a Salesforce development, technical analyst or administrator role, providing hands-on recommendations for process and systems improvement, while undertaking various configuration projects
-
4+ years of configuring and supporting the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community/Experience Cloud and various AppExchange solutions.

Configuration and development experience using Flow, Process Builder, LWC and other and other declarative programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
-
Ability to perform automated and manual testing as needed

Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick)

SOQL Queries and Salesforce Data management

Experience with full lifecycle development and familiarity with automated deployment concepts

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire

Advocate of Salesforce best practices, design principles and development methodologies

Ability to articulate process changes and improvements up and down the organization

At ease in leveraging virtual resources to drive projects to on time completion

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills able to work in a global team setting.

Experience using deployment tools such as AutoRABIT, Copado, Gearset or similar

Knowledge of GIT and VSCode

Experience with Workbench and other Salesforce data query tools

Salesforce.com Certification is preferred
