Senior Sales Manager APAC, Digital Media / BI Solutions (Destinations)Summary of the role

In this role, you will lead our exciting expansion into APAC following the global success in other markets.

You will be targeting both Tourism Destinations and Media Agencies in the APAC region. You will be responsible for building long lasting relationships with Destination Management Organizations (DMOs), along with Airlines and Airports when needed.

As part of the International Commercial Hospitality team, you will report directly to Destinations Global leadership whilst also working closely with the regional Amadeus teams to leverage and cross sell other opportunities.
In this role you'll

Develop key relationships with Destinations and direct client decision makers, and pitch Amadeus Hospitality Solutions with a focus on developing new revenue across all Amadeus Hospitality solutions as per agreed targets.

Your focus will be bringing our core products to market (Digital Media & Business Insights Data Solutions).

Lead Generation - sourcing new leads and building an active pipeline of business.

Respond to complex (RFP- Request for Proposal) request for proposals, negotiate with Destinations /media agencies to ensure long-term wins for Amadeus against other competitors. Meeting strict timelines to respond to responses on time.

Additionally, you will be responsible for strategic mapping of the APAC territory including advising leadership on the required GTM materials, event participation and general knowledge of the market.

Keeping up to date with all relevant products and platforms and associated internal trainings

Partner with Amadeus Internal Account Managers and Media Account Managers to develop travel campaigns across all Amadeus digital media platforms which deliver strong results and lead to renewed campaign bookings
About the ideal candidate

Strong understanding of the Digital Media industry

Knowledge in AdTech/Programmatic Media, Business Insights Data
-
Language skills: Fluent in English, spoken and written, additional Asian languages will be highly regarded.

Travel industry knowledge is a plus.

Experience (or knowledge) of working with government agencies along with the tendering/RFP process

Education: University Degree or Equivalent
-
5+ years commercial experience working in a sales/corporate environment, primarily with digital media solutions
