About the Role

Netcov.com is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive with an understanding of the technology solutions landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence. You’ll leverage your sales experience to engage with decision-makers, consult on their business needs, and present Netcov's IT and security services as the ideal fit to achieve their unique business outcomes. This position requires a consultative sales approach and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and solution implementation.

Accountabilities

  • Sales Strategy & Targeting: Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries assigned. Create and implement strategic sales plans to address the specific security needs of organizations.
  • Consultative Selling: Use a consultative approach to understand clients' business challenges, helping them identify gaps and designing tailored solutions to achieve business outcomes.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including IT managers, CISO’s, CIO’s, CFO’s and compliance managers in target companies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Netcov’s technical and solutions architecture teams to ensure that client requirements are met and that compliance solutions are designed and delivered effectively.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and customer feedback.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about target market updates, changes to regulations, and emerging threats to advise clients on best practices for compliance and data protection.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring that terms align with both client needs and Netcov’s capabilities for long-term business success.
  • Customer Success & Retention: Ensure a smooth handoff to the delivery team and maintain relationships post-sale to drive customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience with a strong focus on selling IT and cybersecurity solutions
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of one or all the vertical markets Netcov caters to along with the challenges these organizations face in digital transformation and becoming compliant.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to sell complex, consultative solutions to senior executives.
  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of IT security, network security, cloud computing, and compliance tools.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated success in building strong, lasting relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers, with a focus on trust and value.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex cybersecurity and IT concepts clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sales Tools & CRM: Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and sales pipeline management.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions specifically related to compliance frameworks.
  • Established network within one or all the markets Netcov serves
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and software solutions that support target market requirements.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and enterprise-level accounts.

Role Logistics

  • This is a full-time position
  • This position may require travel to client offices where locations will vary.
  • This position may require travel to industry events, Network Coverage office locations, and Network Coverage events where locations will vary.
  • Salary range: Base: $125,000-150,000 Annually
  • Target commission opportunity: $40,000-120,000
