Grounded in the commercial & categories strategy, Senior Route to Market Manager will be responsible for creating and executing the long term RTM strategy which takes into consideration factors such as trade structure, portfolio priorities & campaign plans, channels strategy and delivers excellent execution across all channels /stores. This role will be also responsible for forward thinking to the route to market agenda and selecting the best route to consumers in store which optimizes shopper reach, cost to serve and availability & visibility of our focus brands in stores. The role closely cooperates with many & various stakeholders, pre dominantly with Head of Sales, National Field Force Manager, Senior Key Accounts Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating & leading the long term strategy which delivers against efficiency and effectiveness ambition and drives net revenue & market share growth for Mondelez and the retailers;
- Efficient Route to Market design & implementation for field force sales in all channels: Traditional Trade, Local/Regional chains, Van Selling;
- Collaborate with Head of Sales, Field Force team, Key Account Managers , Category & Shopper activation, Revenue Growth Management & Commercial Finance teams to develop and implement programs & tools that will drive execution in store & delivery of business KPI's;
- Drive excellent execution of the Route to Market Strategy strategy to achieve desired availability & visibility, B2B loyalty programs deployment in right stores, channels, customers;
- Responsibility to lead, inspire & develop team of 5 people;
- Ownership of investment & promo budget for customers & channels, ensuring appropriate level of service and data validity provided to finance team
- Prepare operational promotion plans for focus brands and distribution channels, based on category activation plans; leading the implementation of the company's strategy in various sales channels;
- Responsibility for quarterly Net Revenue planning for Traditional Trade & Wholesale channel with tight collaboration with Field Force and Key Account Managers team responsible for specific customers;
- Analyze effectiveness, Return On Investments and in stores promo implementation on ongoing basis.
Requirements:
- University degree from Business, Economy, Marketing;
- Min 6 years of professional experience in blue chip company /FMCG, in the areas of Route to Market, Customer or Channel development / Field Sales experience in Field Force Managerial roles or Key Account Manager with demonstrated ability to work through others in a resourceful manner to deliver business results;
- Experience in designing Route to Market, creating channel strategy with focus on net revenue, market share & cost efficiency with the understanding of the sales cycle, Route to Market fundamentals, promotion & activation tools in Traditional Trade , Local/Regional Chains and Wholesale;
- Solid commercial/ business acumen about Traditional Trade, Local /Regional chains and Wholesale market in Poland;
- Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to translate insights into strategic and executional plans;
- Ability to create persuasive business recommendation and present them in simple manner to Leadership team;
- Fluent Polish and very good English knowledge;
- Experience in managing the team;
- Ability to deal with many & diverse stakeholders including Senior Management.
