Job Description
Principal Accountabilities:
- Install and maintain Polarion, 3DS, Jama, R4J or other requirements management system on the existing infrastructure.
- Understand business requirements for access to real-time data via Polarion Reports.
- Design and develop live-page reports in Polarion
- Pro-active support Engineers with Polarion reports usage, traceability reports, requirements management
- Coach the reports creation according best practices, tool performance and aSPICE compliant.
- Offer online training for Engineering staff regarding Polarion configuration & usage.
- Understand & drive end-to-end architecture for optimal performance of Reports system
- Be the gatekeeper for required changes in the reports, with respect to corporate compliance to standard.
- Explore technologies/solutions for continuous improvements; prime Interface communication the vendor
- Be the main point of contact for Polarion reports and their usage
Key Performance Measures:
- Tool uptime and performance of the service
- Scalable architecture of new tool, with a ‘state-of-the-art’ level of security
- Business needs are properly acknowledged, managed and implemented.
- Regular training sessions for the new users of the service, and increased number of users of the tool.
- Ablility and willingness to learn new skills over time which are required for the job
- Integrate into the existing team and be a team player
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent
- Proven experience with Polarion usage and configuration
- Experience SQL and Javascript
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent
- Knowledge of aSPICE & ISO 26262 can represent an advantage
- Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous: Driver Assistance Systems, tools and methods for software quality assurance, aSPICE, System test, development of safety critical systems, system or software architecture definition
- Knowledge or experience with agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban or XP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of the state-of-the-art SW development methodologies and best practices;
- Bachelor or Master degree with relevant background (Computer, IT, Science,…)
- Business fluent in English
Additional Information
Key Relationships:
- Keep a close contact with the IT and SW development teams
- Work close with legal department in order to assure the legal compliance related to open source code.
