Senior Regulatory Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of the Product Compliance team, the Regulatory Specialist supports global SDS authoring and consulting services and provides transportation consulting support. This position functions as part of a global team to provide international and domestic regulatory consulting support for internal partners and external clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Remain current on the status of regulations (proposed and final) pertaining to Environmental, Safety, Health, and Transport (EHST) impacting chemicals for assigned areas of responsibility
• Use Wercs Studio or SAP EHS software to prepare Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for global clientele
• Provide multi-modal transportation consulting services for new and existing clients
• Perform analysis and create reports for consulting projects for assigned areas of responsibility
• Provide Advisory Services for regulations including EU REACH, EU CLP, EU Biocides, EU Detergent Regulation, EU GPSR, SCIP notification, PCN notification for new and existing clients
• Participate in relevant team meetings
• Prepare articles that are related to new regulatory, international or scientific developments
• Performs additional duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• University Degree (equivalent to Bachelor's degree) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or a related discipline or higher
• Five-years experience preferred with with GHS regulatory requirements, SDS authoring and labeling requirements, multi-modal transportation regulations, EU regulations such as EU REACH (including the use of IUCLID), EU CLP, EU Biocides, EU Detergent Regulation, SCIP notification, PCN notification
• Experience in consumer product regulations and data/project management experience a plus
• Experience in SAP EHS Authoring a plus
