About the Role: Fragomen, an AMLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a Senior Reference Data Management Analyst to assist with the Firms' enterprise reference data. The Senior Analyst joins a growing data management team. The Senior Analyst will have an excellent opportunity to drive standardization of data by using technical & data management skills. This role will be based with Fragomen in Costa Rica.
How will you make a difference as a Reference Data Management Lead at Fragomen?
- Assist in the creation, updating, and maintenance of accurate reference data within the organization’s systems. You will ensure that all data used across systems is consistent, reliable, and aligned with defined standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that reference data is accurate and free of duplicates or inconsistencies. Collaborate with data stewards and stakeholders to uphold data integrity and accuracy across all relevant systems.
- Work closely with data teams to map reference data accurately across multiple systems, supporting data integration and helping ensure smooth data flows across platforms.
- Contribute to the establishment of data standards and governance frameworks, helping ensure that reference data adheres to the organization's guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Track key data metrics related to accuracy, consistency, and completeness, producing regular reports to inform leadership of any issues or areas for improvement.
- Partner with IT, data governance, and business teams to understand data requirements, troubleshoot data issues, and implement solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Maintain clear, accessible documentation of reference data management procedures, including data entry standards, governance policies, and guidelines for data use across the organization.
- Respond to data-related inquiries and support the resolution of any reference data issues, acting as a key contact for stakeholders needing assistance with data access, quality, or interpretation.
Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of strong experience in analytics & 2+ years in a data management or data analyst role or similar.
- Familiarity with Master Data Management processes.
- Advanced experience with SQL scripting & familiarity with a data governance tool, preferably Informatica.
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau & Power BI will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work with data in various formats, including handling data transformations and basic data cleansing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capability to identify and troubleshoot data quality issues.
- Strong communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and present data insights clearly.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records of data processes and standards.
